- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have the outside air temperature display reading incorrectly. Dealer should advise the customer that the outside air temperature will not update if the vehicle speed is less than 30 kilometer per hour (19 miles per hour). Dealer should also review the outside air temperature update strategy.
