Recently noticed when brakes are applied that the pedal will slowly sink to the floor causing my foot to be pressing the gas pedal at the same time. At a stop light it causes the anti brakes to come on and to proceed through the stop light.

2006 Buick Lucerne anti-lock brake safety problem. Customer states that he was trying to park when the ABS engaged. He stated he pressed harder on the brake but the car did not stop and the ABS continued to pump the brakes and the stopping distance was greatly extended. The consumer was unable to stop the vehicle and subsequently he crashed into a tree. The consumer stated the damage to the vehicle was minimal. The consumer stated the ABS should have never kicked in on a dry, asphalt surface.

- the contact stated that the 2006 Buick Lucerne would not move forward after the vehicle came to a complete stop. The contact waited approximately 25 seconds before he was able to proceed. He had to push the accelerator a couple of times before the vehicle accelerated. Also, the vehicle would accelerate by itself without warning. The contact stated there was no particular time of the day, and the road conditions have been clear during every occurrence. The contact spoke with dealership, and they installed a data processor, the contact was advised to push data processor button when problems occurred. The vehicle has now started to give false warnings. The vehicle traction control indicator illuminated when the vehicle was not moving. Also, received a service brake assistance warning when the vehicle was not moving. The vehicle currently had 12000 miles. The failure mileage was 7500.
