This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I own a 2007 Buick Lucerne. Since I retired the car would sit in the garage for a few days whereupon it would go dead. I called onstar and had the car jump started but it kept happening. So the dealer finally took it in and tested the draw. They found a defective onstar module and another module connected to the door and lights that were bad. It has been fixed and so far so good until today when I was driving down the road and it just stopped dead. So I do not know the outcome of this failure yet. The only problem being it is now 2,000 miles out of warranty.
