When I am driving my vehicle will just stall. If I do not let my car run for at least 5-10 minutes before I go anywhere it will stall out on me not long after. It has stalled on the highway, even a few times with my 6 year old in the vehicle. After it stalls out a lot of times I have to park it, turn it off, open my door/shut it, then wait for the inside light go out before I try to start it back up. It does start back up after I let the light go out but not everytime. I have sat there for 30 minutes to an hour more than 3 times. Now i do not have control of any of the master controls for the windows or locks. I have to lock my door manually now. I was told that it could be from my ignition switch which I know there was a recall on before. I would like another recall for this issue and for it to be fixed before something not so good happens.

I purchased my '07 Buick Lucerne cxl about a year ago ago an I actually love the car however; about 3 or so months ago I noticed a what I am suspecting is the transmission or possibly a censor or relay issue causing the car to make a hesitation and drag when I try to keep a consistent speed and only quits when I press or depress the gas pedal making the car either accelerate or decrease in speed drastically. Also, about a month ago I noticed the headlights and dash lights get brighter and then dimmer in a flashing manner at no certain interval; now the "service battery charging system" dic message along with the red battery dash light comes on and goes off also at no specific time or interval ( at which time my heater/seat warmers/radio/etc shut off ). I am able to force the dic message and battery dash light to go away upon my revving the engine or accelerating drastically. I have had both the battery and the alternator checked and both are in good working order so now, after some online research, I will check the fuses and relay switches more intensely. I pray I am able to find a solution as I really do love my car. Also, last week my transponder key quit working in the ignition and had to use the fob remote start to start the engine, thankfully upon checking the fuses under the back seat ( I guess from removing and replacing them ), the key and console ignition did start operating normally again. And I checked my VIN # on this site and it is returning clear to having no current recalls. I am however worried of some of the stories I have read regarding malfunction, I fear I may be facing a future alike incident so if anyone has any solutions I am all ears. Thank you...

I was driving down the road about 1 mike from my house. The road is a country road and is straight. I wasn't distracted or speeding. It happened so fast but I think I may have hit a slight bump on the right hand shoulder of the road and then the car started fish tailing and then went off the road and was stopped when it hit a dirt driveway. I had no control of the car and the brakes failed to stop the car. The car was totaled with only 36000 miles on it even though I luckily just sideswiped a tree. The car always seemed hard to steer as if the steering was loose and you really had to pay attention and keep both hands on the steering wheel. The car was my elderly in-laws who bought it brand new in 2007. They both passed away in November 2018 and then I inherited it and had just recently started driving it. The air bags did not deploy.

I bought a 2007 Buick Lucerne from (redacted) in memphis, tn.I have had problem after problem.first it was the driver seat that wouldn't move back, then the alternator and battery.next was the motor engine running hot.now it's the transmission it was running fine.now it won't run in drive only gears 2&3.I saw that there was a recall on this in 2009 I don't know if it was fixed then or not because I don't know the original owner.if you drive the car it will run and cutoff in the middle of the street.(very dangerous).then it will run for a mile or to and do the samething now it's parked.I'm not trying to get hurt or killed in this contraption.I'm already disable I'm not trying to kill myself or get killed in this car.they are dangerous.all need to be recalled they are not top of the line Buick they are a disaster waiting to happen.

Head light failure due to passenger side relay harness module failure. Low beam lights failed on dark night on mountain road. This problem has been reported by numerous Buick Lucerne drivers. Buick obviously knows there is a problem because they offer a replacement front light harness module that must be spliced into the existing main light harness to replace the original equipment module. This is an obvious manufacturing design defect and a difficult module to replace. The replacement module is approximately $50 and the replacement labor is around 1.5 hours. With normal use this light module connections shorts out because of the overload on the module. Why hasn't this problem been considered for a recall? GM has admitted it is a design defect with the availability of the replacement light harness module wiring kit. My wife almost went off the road and wrecked when the lights went out.

Problems : a short circuit on the printed circuit board for the washer fluid heater, overheating the ground circuit board. May cause other electrical features malfunction, create an odor or cause smoke increasing the risk of fire. 2. hwfs harness. Considerable melting has occurred around the hwfs fluid chamber. Possible for the heater washers module to ignite and a fire may occur. 3.on 3 occasions the key has locked out of the run position and caused loss of power, power-steering, and power breaking; increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. I have contacted Buick about this. They stated there are no recalls on my vehicle. Customer complaint number is 8-2700897169. General service number 1-866-608-8080. I drive as little as possible because of the factors. 1st recall # 08V441000 recall date 08/28/2008. Componet: Electrical system on all 3 issues. 2. recall date 06/24/2010 recall #10V240000. 3. recall number is 14V355000 recall date 06/23/2014. Buick states these are not issues with my car but all these issues have occurred by me. These incidents for some reason these all happened while the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, fixing to stop, or starting from a low rate of speed.
