This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Paint peeling...coming off in sheets for last few years...contacted both GM and Buick home offices....was told it wasn't a defect and nothing could be done. It appears to be the same type of delamination problem that they had the recalls on vehicles for years just ahead of mine. Didn't they have to correct the problem??
A flaw in glove compartment design. Whenever paper is in glove compartment it would slip through & get entangled with fan motor & clog it. This caused fan motor to overheat. Took to dealership who called manufacturer. Was informed its owner's problem to solve.
