The microchip key is the worst invention ever i went through hell to find out that this was just a 12 dollar fix i replaced the starter rented a 100 dollar car dolly to move it........ just so i could spend five minutes and 12 dollars. I needed to tie resistors into the VATS wire so that the keys resistance matched that of the VATS system.
