While driving with the cruise control engaged, the vehicle started steering itself. When the brakes were applied, the ABS locked up. The consumer lost control of the vehicle and impacted a guard rail. The vehicle spun around and backed into the guard rail. The vehicle then turned around and faced the other side of the road. The air bag(s) did not deploy and the seat belts did not restrain the consumer.
The part to complete recall 00V-171 (frontal air bag) was on back order and the consumer was instructed to obtain a rental car, the consumer was told that GM would only pay 30 dollars a day for a rental car and the vehicle was not comparable to the Buick Regal the consumer owned, the consumer paid the difference for a comparable rental car and is requesting reimbursement. Consumer received recall notification(00V171000) regarding possible air bag failure, consumer then received another notification stating that the parts were available and to make an appointment, however the dealer informed consumer that the vehicle was not apart of the recall campaign.
Consumer lost control on an icy road, vehicle hit a post and ended up nose down in a ditch. Neither airbag deployed. Consumer suffered minor injuries. Vehicle was totalled.
While driving 65 mph, the air bag light came on, shortly after that the drivers air bag deployed, causing consumer to lose control of vehicle, the vehicle ended up in a ditch, after the accident, consumer received recall notice on the airbag, consumer suffered a damaged lung, and her chest was caved in.

Consumer received a recall notification, but was informed by dealer that part was on order and it would be at least three to four weeks before it would arrived, consumer has since sold vehicle in which the part was never replaced.
Received recall #00V171000 and contacted dealership. Took vehicle in for repairs for air bag. Defect was repaired. Once completed, and owner retrieved vehcle, noticed horn failed to work when it did previously. Mechanic indicated horn not working at time of repairs.
Consumer received recall on passenger's air bag in May 2ooo. Made appointment with dealer and had vehicle serviced. Technician stated consumer will receive call when parts come in. Two weeks have passed, no call received.
Recall 00V171000. Air bag warning light illuminated, indicating a malfunction within system. Contacted dealer. Dealer stated repairing vehicle will take a week to complete. Manufacturer will not offer a rental car.
Consumer has received recall 00V171000/manufacturer's recall 00058 for passenger's side airbag. Consumer contacted dealer, benson Buick 9631 hickman rd des monies, ia. 50322 phone # 515-276-6600, and before 2001 was told that parts weren't available. Parts still have not come in. Consumer will called Buick to see if they could make some arrangements for parts.
Dealership does not have parts available to fix recall for air bag deployment that he received in mail. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
Consumer was involved in a 40 mph frontal collision, hitting a truck in which driver's and passenger's air bags did not deploy, cause unknown. Consumer received recall 00V1710000 for driver's air bag, but passenger's air bag not included.
