Car began just cutting out while city driving. Got more serious when it started to happen on freeway. One moment doing 65 then a split second later engine dies, no stalling, just cuts out. Starts up after about 5 minutes rest. Very dangerous, has been at Buick dealership for 3 weeks and they seem to have no clue what it is or how to fix it.

Car turned off while driving, First time fixed the Cardone MAF sensors, worked for about 3 Months. Happen again, fixed several problems -secondary air pump, intake gaskets, cover gaskets, EFI service, plus other minor things, $1000.00. Worked for about another 3 months.

Happened again, fixed the ignition starter, 6 months later happened again, replaced starter. 4 months later happened again. That's where I'm now, mechanic is not sure what to do so he wants to replace the lights switch, say's it's causing the a battery problem. ? I give up, does anyone know what this could be?
