My Buick Regal has an interesting issue, either with electrical or audio. Every once in a while a loud pop will come thru the speakers, and every 5-10 minutes the audio will drop when playing through Bluetooth for a few seconds and come back on again.

Radio pause and play feature induces very choppy and glitchy playback resulting in a poor listening experience.

This is an advertised feature in all of the new Buick vehicles equipped with the Intellilink system. While listening to the am/fm/xm stations, the audio may become choppy and glitchy. It's not like static you here from a low signal, it is more of a software glitch. This is very reproducible by using the play and pause feature even for a short period of time. Sometimes the glitches get so bad that the radio basically plays gibberish.

I took it to the dealer and they said that the software is up to date and that other cars have the same problem so there is no reason to physically replace my radio. Basically there is no solution at the moment. I can't believe that this radio left the facility without full testing. Doesn't look very good for a luxury brand....

Update from Jul 20, 2016: After months of waiting, GM has not been able to resolve this issue so I just have to deal with it. Their incompetent department responsible for this didn't bother fully testing their product so they just sold it and claimed it as a feature in their catalogs. It is amazing how companies can do this. Recently they have completely removed it from their 2016 lineup after failing to resolve the issues making the feature on previous model years 100% useless....

Do not buy GM vehicles because who knows what else they didn't bother testing!!! (cough IGNITION SWITCH cough) GM lacks what it takes to test the features or even fix the problems people complain about on a $32,000+ car. American cars will forever be bottom of the barrel...
