The part is back ordered through the GM parts warehouse with no availability date. I can purchase the part online but I am told that if I get the dealer to install this part, my warranty will be voided. This whole situation makes no sense. No one has any information on when the part will be available and yet I have an easy solution that I am not permitted to put in place. So far my car has been laid up for close to 3 weeks with no end in sight. I purchased it new on June 26.
