This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
2004 Buick Rendezvous - extremely unreliable horn (design flaw). I have narrowly escaped many accidents by sheer luck. Have had people backing into me & been unable to honk the horn because I could not find the very limited "sweet spot." When the steering wheel is turned even slightly, it is impossible to find!
The starter and horn did not always work. Thermostat and fuel gauge was not accurate. There had previously been a problem with the ignition switch and it was repaired due to a recall. The problem with the starter started in March of 2005. These problems have not been repaired as of yet. When the consumer took the vehicle it to the dealership they told her it was designed that way.
