Broken front right strut tower connection to wheel hub caused a spin-out collision with the curb. So much for the "Standard of the World"... Looks like GM has some inferior metal on their hands.
Update from Oct 8, 2015: GM pulled the "black box" data. Maximum speed during the incident was 38mph.
