Front passenger door fails to open from outside the vehicle, first intermittently, then constantly. After inspecting the vehicle, dealer said it was a faulty door lock actuator, and that eventually, the door wouldn't open either from the inside or outside of the vehicle. This is a safety issue that I'd like the ntsb to investigate. Dealer said there were no campaigns on the issue. The car is garaged 100% of the time when not being driven. It had 37,367 miles on the odometer when inspected at the dealership for the front passenger door not opening. Dealer said it would cost $576 to repair.
