The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, she heard a loud bang and the wheels locked. The vehicle then spun out of control through three lanes of traffic to the shoulder. There was no accident. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the rear differential had cracked and the front differential had a leak and was pouring out oil which caused the failure. The dealer stated that the rear and front differentials needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been notified. The current and failure mileages were approximately 20,000.
