The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac Dts. The contact stated that while driving at a low speed, the vehicle accelerated independently. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond. The contact also stated that two years later, while attempting to reverse at a low speed, the vehicle accelerated in the forward position. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond. As a result, the contact crashed into the rear of another vehicle, a curb and bushes. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed and no injuries were reported.the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,000. The VIN was unavailable.
