The contact's spouse owns a 2000 Cadillac Deville. On three separate occasions, the rear passenger, front passenger, and front driver's side windows fell down into the door. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and they replaced the window regulator. The VIN was unknown. The current mileage was 26,000 and failure mileage was 8,000.
The contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Deville. When the contact removes his foot from the accelerator pedal, the vehicle continues to accelerate on its own. The failure also occurs when idling at a red light or stop sign. The ABS traction light illuminates. The vehicle has been inspected by a mechanic. In addition, three of the window regulators failed within a week of each other. Currently, all four windows fail to go up and down properly. The current mileage was 88,627 and failure mileage was 70,000. Remailed 11/14/08.
The sun visor doesn't extend forward far enough. As a result, the visor obstructs driver's view. The visor was changed in the newer model year vehicles, but the manufacturer was not willing to resolve the problem although they were aware of visor's defect.
