Window regulators have broken. All (every) (all 4) window regulators have broken without warning and required premature replacement. This was a hazard since security in bad neighborhoods was compromised multiple times, also was unable to keep criminals and rain out of car on multiple occasions causing damage to interior.
The contact owns a 2002 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that during a routine inspection, a hole was discovered in the floor pan due to a leak coming from the battery, which was located under the rear seat of the vehicle. The dealer was notified of the failure who stated that the vehicle was no longer under warranty and there were no recalls for the failure. The manufacturer was contacted who offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 27,450.
