The contact owns a 2002 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, the check engine light illuminated and the gears would not shift into overdrive. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that the transmission assembly needed to be rebuilt. The manufacturer was contacted but offered no assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 45,344 and the current mileage was 48,550.
The contact owns a 2002 Cadillac Deville. While driving various speeds, accelerating, or driving uphill or downhill, the vehicle hesitates and performs as it if wants to stall. In addition, it takes a long time for the gear to shift. The first time the failures occurred, the contact took the vehicle to a repair shop and was informed that the intake manifold failed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure continued. The dealer has not been notified. The contact is afraid to drive the vehicle. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 142,790.
While driving at 30 mph suddenly red light came on for airbag, and green lights went off. Did not know in what gear vehicle was in. Also, gas gauge went out. Cause unknown. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer could not find cause of problem. Dealer has had vehicle since July.

While putting vehicle in reverse it would not stop. Upon reversing vehicle ran into a shopping cart before stopping. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything.
