I purchased this Cadillac new in 2005. Within 4 years, the transmission needed to be replaced as it lost third and forth gears. After replacing with an OEM transmission, the replacement failed and needed replaced again after 50K miles. I have replaced the transmission a total of 3 times now with an average cost of $3200 per replacement. I will never own another Cadillac again.
