Car stalled out in Maryland was towed and ultimately ended up at cadillac dealership in bethesda maryland. Dealership convinced me of a throttle body and brake light system cost 965.00

Then 45 minutes away from home on 80/94 entering illinois it happened again. Vehicle was towed to Arnie Baur Cadillac of which it took a week to recreate the driving environment to re-create the problem. The conclusion was a fuel pump was replaced costing 1005.00 dollars parts and labor.

I have also been told that I need a catalytic converter. All of this is veri irritating to say the least as I owned a toyota avalon that had 233000 miles on it and NEVER stalled or left me stranded on side of the rd and.... was sold and is still driving fine to the new owner.
