Escalade Premium 6.2L V8

The radio screen just becomes unresponsive, and when driving can not control anything on the screen, it’s a real pain when it does it when driving because so much stuff is controlled through the screen. If I reset it it fixes it for a little bit then does it again. If it does it while driving, you can’t reset the screen until you stop again. GM needs to get their stuff together and recall these screens, because I’ve heard a lot of people have the issue with them.

Escalade Platinum

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

With only 40,000 miles on 2016 Platinum Escalade my cue infotainment glitches so one cannot use touchscreen at all. Dealership said warranty was up in June even though the low mileage and the year of the vehicle. Whenever the new system comes in, I will have to pay $300 deductible. Thank goodness I paid almost 2 grand for an extended warranty. This sucks!

The dealership admitted this is a problem on this model Escalade. Many people have also said the screen spider webs. GM should replace or have a recall on the cue infotainment. It is really sad to pay big bucks for a vehicle and have to have a system replaced on which they should have a recall. Cadillacs should be dependable. The Cue Infotainment is also hard to figure out. I want GM to make this right. After loving my 2007 Escalade which is still running and has over 200,000 miles - buying a newer model was a huge mistake.
