The cue system glitches, which can be a safety hazard when it is connected to a phone using GPS or assisted talking technology.

The trunk closes on its own at all times. I was vacuuming on the back door area behind the driver-??s side and the trunk closed and opened twice. Then I was vacuuming my trunk space and the trunk closed twice automatically once hitting me in the head and doesn-??t have a sensor that senses a body or something or someone there. This is a very dangerous flaw and needs to be corrected before someone is killed by this!!!

I had a problem with my vehicle having a horrible vibration at certain speeds and my Cadillac giving my so many problems too. I-€™ve had my vehicle at the gm dealer so many times to try and fix these issues. I-€™ve had multiple things fixed on my Cadillac to stop this vibration but nothing has worked! They can-€™t get the vibration fixed and causes my car to need balanced a lot! Fr what I read Cadillac is aware of this issue but has chosen not to take responsibility for it. They call it the Chevy shake or death wobble. They-€™ve put two different motors in the gm vehicles and they are junk. Plus my car hesitates when you put it drive and the check engine light comes every once in awhile. It-€™s terrible to drive this at certain speeds with the vibration. I also had other issues with my vehicle including the Cadillac cue and my back door handle breaking off. The recently replaced my Cadillac cue with the same one but all the Cadillac cues are junk. They freeze all the time and can-€™t use it. I have all my my paper work from the dealerships it-€™s been at and everything they have replaced. I don-€™t understand why Cadillac isn-€™t taking responsibility for these issues. It-€™s been so frustrating not being able to drive my car when it sits at the dealership for weeks at a time. Yes, I-€™ve had two open claims in this case and have two lawyers involved. I would prefer to fax all my paperwork since I have so much to upload.

Running boards go up and down when the door is open. Both my wife and nine year old daughter almost had their legs caught when stepping out of the vehicle. This is dangerous and the manufacturer claims no responsibility. Very dangerous safety concern.

Infotainment screen shows cracking, becomes unresponsive and clicks on it's own intermittantly. Renders all functionality including all radio/sound, navigation, projection, etc... useless.

My 2016 black Cadillac Escalade has a paint defect on the hood and roof where the clear coat is/has deteriorated much faster then the rest of the body; in fact the body paint is still shiny and as far as I know there is a 5 year manufacture warranty on the paint. It is a known issue with GM on 2016 black vehicles that this is occurring. I contacted my local Cadillac dealer in which I have all my service done through and I was told that more than likely I will have to pay a part of the repair, which it not right being that we pay to drive a quality vehicle and is only 4 years old. Unexceptable!!!

While the vehicle was still under warranty (within a few months of our initial purchase) we contacted the Escalade dealership in dublin, ca informing them that our Escalade would stall upon acceleration going forward or reverse causing it to jolt (kickback) once it accelerated. The dealership inspected it and said no problem was found. We brought it back multiple times to hear no problem found. Through the life of this vehicle it continues to happen but now more vigorously.

I purchased a new vehicle a little over a year ago, picked it up at 4pm, on my drive home I noticed a vibration when driving at speeds from 35 miles per hour plus. The vibration increases with speed. I brought it back to the dealer the next morning on Saturday at 8am. I was asked to drop it off during the week, which I did. They replaced 4 tires. This did not correct the problem. I brought it back again a few weeks later, two tires were replaced a second time. I still had the same problem. I brought it back again, the 3rd time they replaced on tire. It did not correct the vibration. I now have my vehicle in for service again, they replaced the drive shaft. I just received an email from the service manager informing me the drive shaft replacement did not correct the problem.

In the early hours of August 15th 2016 my Cadillac Escalade 2016, VIN [xxx], caught fire while staying parked (stationary) all night. As per the pictures taken by the neighbors, the Escalade tuned into a huge fire ball and burned the truck down to ashes. It also burned down two other cars parked behind it and the adjacent house on fire. As per the montgomery county (Maryland) fire department, arson was ruled out and most likely caused by internal mechanical issues. Car vibrates from 35mph up to 80 plus. Had it to dealer 5 times and they know that there is a vibration. They said GM said the torque converter was out of balance and GM was designing a fix. About 5 calls and three week later they received a new special torque converter and after it was installed the vibration was still there. You can feel the vibration in the steering wheel, throttle, center console, floor, and the seat. The service manager has been very polite and has gone out of his way to help. A GM field service rep has looked at the car and said it is within GM spec, S. I am reading all over the internet of the same problem and GM has replaced drivelines, wheels, tires, torque converters, shocks, rear axles, engine mounts, etc. And still have a vibration problem. They have even bought some of the 2015 and 2016 back. This is happening on all GM full size SUV's. Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac.
