i bought this car used - thought i was doing the smart thing - getting a really "GOOD" low mileage car - and the transmission was bad when i bought it. of course the dealership had a warranty and they "fixed" it. but now less than 25,000 miles later i have had to have the transmission totally rebuilt again.

When coming to a stop, Transmission clunks as it downshifts to first gear. Also clunks when in cruise control after topping a hill and engine rpm slows down. Condition exists after engine and transmission become fully warmed up. Taken to Cadillac Dealer three times. They can't fix it. Symptom is fully explained in TSB 01996. Dealer cannot fix it.
