My elderly mother has a 2014 Cadillac SRX. While the vehicle was parked, the center information radio cue system screen cracked all of sudden. I am unable to use or see the cue system and afraid to touch the screen, so that I will not cut my hand or get injured. There was no warning that the screen had cracked. Since the incident first happened the cracking has gotten so much worst. I had my my mother take the vehicle to the dealer, to figure out why this happened, they informed me that the cost to replace the entire cue system would cost over $1200, and it was nothing that they could do, and that they have never seen this happen before. The vehicle only had approximately 43,000 miles on it when this happened. This is extremely unacceptable. TSB: PIC6055C (Electrical: Radio/Tape Deck/CD).

My CUE screen is cracked and unresponsive. I went to the dealership and they said it was out of warranty and they would not repair item. From looking online the CUE system is defective and has affected many Cadillac cars. I am very disappointed with GM. I had the top model and it should not have cracked. They have known about the problem for years and chose to ignore it. I am leery of buying another Cadillac since they do not care about their customers.

Class action lawsuit was file for headlights that go dim after life of the vehicle. I never received letter in regards to lawsuit and dealer will not help to replace headlights. This should be a recall headlights are very important dealer and manufacture are aware of this headlight issue because of the class action lawsuit they settled. PLEASE MAKE THIS A RECALL HEADLIGHTS GO DIM NO VISIABILITY AT NIGHT!!!! Manufacture recommends to replace out of pocket expense to consumer knowing it is a manufacture defect on their part. No accident but many close calls.

Dim lights housing burned out. Diagnosed by local mechanic and confirmed by Cadillac dealership in Smyrna, Ga. Service dept. says all SRX are having this problem, but he also stated that the recall was already done. The actual recall I received was about condensation in the lights which does not seem to be a problem for my vehicle, so if people are taking their vehicles in and being told the recall is already done, then they are probably not reporting the problem. This affects the safety of myself and others as I am unable to see well in dimly lit areas and I have to use my bright lights to avoid having an accident. There is no warning indicator for this. I can just tell that the lights are not working properly. Also the electronic touch screen that controls the radio and heating is not working properly. I cannot redirect the heat, so it only blows out of defrost vents. It-??s very cold in the back for my 4 year old. My vehicle is available for inspection upon request and once I get the mechanic to look at it again, I can provide a picture of the burned out housing unit.

The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact called the local dealer who stated that parts were not yet available. The contact was informed not to drive the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 37,600. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated the touchscreen became inoperable in 2017. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed the cue screen needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred in 2021. The manufacturer was notified however no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 28,124 and 63,991.

GM Corp/Cadillac issued a recall to the vehicles info center CUE screens. They were deteriorating and potential provide false information on the cars message center. Cadillac replaced t he CUE screen on the 2014 SRX. The same screen that was replaced is now deteriorated to the point, that after 30 minutes of driving, the screen has become inoperative to the touch and not able to display and current information about the cars condition. This inoperative screen and lack of information creates a distraction and concern about the cars condition. Recall / Repair was done under invoice #218494 from AutoNation Cadillac of West Palm Bch, Fla

Information screen locked up not allowing me to access climate control, radio, phone, navigation. My mechanic tells me this is common at about 65000 miles and mine just turned 66000. The fix is about $1500.. according to internet information this is a common problem. Planned obeisance by GM? vehicle was stationary and I was trying to get in phone mode from climate to hook up hands free phone. Nothing happens when you try to change mode.

The headlights have been getting more dim causing safety issues at night forcing me to use the high beams to much and GM tried to force owners to pay to fix $1700 estimate out pocket with the hope & prayer they would reimburse through a third party that has been a nightmare as documented on:: https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/03/2010-2015-Cadillac-Srx-owners-still-battling-with-headlight-problems/comment-page-5/#comment-1001328 and https://cadillacsociety.com/2020/03/10/owners-continue-to-struggle-with-Cadillac-Srx-headlights/ I had more than one incident that shows my car could cause injury based on making mistakes for lack of visibility. This is a death waiting to happen and GM is barely going through the motions to make sure they are not ignoring it but blowing it off in many ways suppressing it in many ways. The other problems with the wheel bearings and suspension are scary when you hear the noises and I think more scary when you ask for an estimate which I will put off deciding to take a chance with an area of the car that can truly cause death if the past means anything. I am going to mention the problem with the defective que system that they are clearly trying to deny but did pay 90% of my $1000 repair without taking blame and of course this is not a real safety concern but worth describing because it shows a clear pattern of suppression and avoidance to recall a clearly defective part of a vehicle. My cue screen is no longer functioning. 1) back up camera is no longer visible when parking my car. 2) gps is no longer available because I cannot get into the system, I have to use my cell phone for gps on the highway making it unsafe due to the super small screen instead of the large cue screen in the Cadillac Srx I purchased. 3) you can no longer pair your cell phone with the bluetooth in the Cadillac, because the touch screen will not function. This makes my vehicle no longer handsfree. 4) radio stations and xm no longer available and other options.

When it rains it cause water to collect in the spare tire compartment where the module for the liftgate is housed. Which cause the car to think it's been stolen and makes the dashboard and safety features disable. It also make the car don't want to turn off and it randomly turns on if the key is near by. It's a known issue with the Cadillac Srx that Cadillac refuse to fix out of good faith for its customers. If the module get wet you can say goodbye to antilock brakes, traction's control, airbags, and a host of other features till it dry out.

Ramey princeton Chevrolet (135 fairmont dr, princeton, wv 24740, (304) 425-2134) was contacted by phone and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the fracture was normal wear and tear. The contact was referred to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure. The manufacturer offered to provide a minimal financial assistance to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The approximate failure mileage was 51,248.
