The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 mph, there was a sudden loss on engine power as the electronic throttle control warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed the ignition switch was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
