Vehicle transmission clunks and jerks when decelerating from a high rate of speed. It occurs when it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear and from 2nd gear to first. Problem is intermittent, which gives them the excuse to say, "we can't duplicate it," and then they can ignore it.
Been to the dealer (Bayway Cadillac) twice; the first time Cadillac told them to do nothing (and naturally they obliged) and the second time they updated the software in the transmission controller, but the update did not solve the problem.
I hope it's not the same problem that's being litigated in the 2019 transmission class action lawsuit.
This is a nightmare because I don't think they will fix. This issue really destroys the driving experience and I'm just astounded GM's flagship line is this poor quality. Buyer beware.
