Ok, It started to feel like the key was catching when I would try to put it in the ignition to start the car. This was not that big of a deal. It just locked up. The key would go in but it felt like the last tumbler or pin was jammed and I can't get the key in all the way to start the car. It will come out, but won't go in all the way. I sprayed some WD40 in there and tried turning the wheel, jamming the key, wiggling the key, nothing worked.
So my concern now is... I purchased the new ignition lock cylinder from auto zone and it was only 30.99. I haven't gotten back to the car to install it and the instructions read to turn the key to the ACC position and press some spring to get it out. I can't turn the key because it won't go in. So will I be able to still get the cylinder out???? If anyone has any tips. please let me know.
Thanks
