A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I've had my car for a little over two years (purchased 12-18-2015). Up through somewhere between 85k and 87k, things were fairly smooth outside of the occasional jarring when shifting into reverse. I was driving down a local highway and had sudden loss of power but, no change in RPM's. I was able to shrug along and return to my place of employment. My local mechanic was able to assess that my alternator was dead/dying. We replaced that and did an overall inspection to determine if there were any other issues.

I continued to have regular oil changes, tire rotations and as needed fluid flush and fills. I was able to have my airbag recalls serviced in September/October of 2017. I had my most recent oil change on January 20, 2018 and was informed that I also needed cabin and engine filters replaced. I handled those myself on the 01-23-2018 on my way home from errands. On 01-26-18, I delivered my dying dog to the vet for euthanasia. As we were leaving the vet office parking lot, the transmission started jumping and lagging alternatively. We made it down the road to a nearby service station so that I could check my fluid levels.

From there, we had to have my Chrysler towed home where she sat for nearly a month while I proceeded to evaluate possible issues and resolve them. For about two weeks, she's run fairly well. Night before last, My friend was driving and the lagging/jarring and hard shifting resumed and we were barely able to return home without being towed.

Here we are, once again, driveway sitting and not understanding why. I had experience with Chrysler 300's from my sister needing aide in the past with her 2005 Hemi edition. We replaced her gear shift pink thing in my driveway around the 100k mark. Easy but, annoying issue. Apparently, also quite common with the Chrysler.

At this point, I am trying to determine whether or not the issue is my torque converter assembly, the throttle position sensor or something else. If there are this many issues reported and, lord only knows how many unreported...why has Chrysler not issued a recall for their "so-called, appreciated clientele"? This is clearly, by reading these complaints and others on countless websites, are overwhelming. If I had found even 10% of these when face with purchasing this vehicle, I would not have.

this car has been a lemon since I bought and paid cash for it new. I'm sick of all the problems it has. I'm so sick of it that I tell everyone I know and don't know to never buy a Chrysler,Dodge or Fiat. With only 117,000 miles om it and the transmission is slipping for a car that I paid $28,000 cash for is absurd. I wish I'd bought a Buick,at least it would be dependable
