The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, there was a burning odor inside the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over on the side of the road and examined under the hood of the vehicle and noticed there was smoke coming from the alternator. After the vehicle cooled down, the contact was able to drive the vehicle back to the residence. The dealer was contact and stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V435000 (Electrical System) and that the contact had to pay for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 158,000.
The air bags were replaced in my vehicle due to a recall. Now my air bag light is on and the buttons and horn do not work. The airbag clock spring is broken. The air bags were replaced by the dealership. Should the clock spring be replaced covered due to this issue?
Esc off light comes on and transmission does not shift has loss of power gets extremely bad gas mileage. Whole engine shakes and bucks as if misfiring., cruise control nor sport mode engage.
Car was stalling and had electrical issues. I paid to get it fixed but never knew there was a recall for my vehicles alternator. The vehicle battery dies fairly quickly from time to time still and every know and then I have to call AAA to jump my car and they say my battery is good. Chrysler's number for this recall is T36. I never received a noticed.
Was on my way home from work and car completely lost power as I was preceding to go after stopping at a stop sign. I was LITERALLY in the middle of the road. Car wouldn't crank AT ALL. Engine started OVERHEATING causing smoke to disburse from engine. NO WARNING LIGHTS before this occurred. A big truck was coming down the road and I had to exist the vehicle. Luckily a car wasn't in the other lane so the truck went on the other side of the road. I was terrified! I called 911 to get a deputy dispatch to direct traffic around my car to avoid mutiple COLLISION. I had to have my vehicle towed. I never want another Chrysler again these cars are UNSAFE. I could have died what if my child was in the car?! I took my car to a mechanic to put on computer scanner and it gave off SEVEN codes ALL due to ELECTRICAL ISSUES! CAR IS APPARENTLY STUCK IN LIMP MODE IDK I'M SO CONFUSED AND DISAPPOINTED. I reported the issue to Chrysler recall line and they did NOTHING.
The air bag light comes on n off with a passenger in the seat and also the shifter sometimes doesn-€™t shift into gear I have to unplug battery for 10 minutes to reset system that comes to the electrical situation
My vehicle stalls when placed from reverse to drive and the check engine light blinks and goes to Eco mode which makes the car shake. I-€™ve had a tuneup, oil change, brakes, O2 sensor and spark plugs replaced and the issues still exist. The car also will initiate skid control without warning or pressing the button which slows the car down and causes the engine to rev above 3-6rpm

The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. While driving various speeds, the vehicle's thermostat ran hot. While accelerating, the thermostat would reset to normal. The contact also stated that while accelerating at 55 mph, the vehicle shut off and the electronic throttle control (etc) warning indicator illuminated. The contact had to wait thirty minutes before the vehicle was able to be restarted and resume normal driving. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic where the thermostat was replaced, but no error codes could be found regarding the etc. Despite the thermostat replacement, the failures persisted. The manufacturer and dealer were not notified of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 132,000.
I recently ran into some mechanical issues that have concerned me. I was driving my vehicle October 9th 2019 on the highway with an average speed of 70mph 'speed limit' and without any warning the vehicle cut off while still in motion. There were no warning lights or any indication that I was having any issues mechanically. I was able to pull over safely and the vehicle would not start. After 15-20 minutes on the side of the road and a few phone calls to a towing company I tried to start the vehicle and it started right up. I contacted the nearest dealer to me 'rocky mount Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat, located at 1340 S wesleyan blvd, rocky mount, nc 27803 at phone number 252-977-1340'. I was told by the service manager my vehicle had already had the recall for the electrical system: Alternator/generator/regulator completed and there should not be any problems. This was even after stating the issue which I caused me to be on the side of the road. Believing the recall actually fixed the problem the first time then why am I now/still having the same problems as listed with the recall, electrical system: Alternator/generator/regulator.
The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact's vehicle suddenly shut off and crashed into the rear of a second vehicle. There were no injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously serviced per NHTSA campaign number: 17V435000 (electrical system) and the alternator was replaced; however, the failure recently recurred. The manufacturer and courtesy Dodge (440 28th St SE, grand rapids, mi) were notified of the failure. The cause of the failure was not determined. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 111,000.
While driving down a busy highway my car began to have electrical issues with the lights blinking and display going in and out before the vehicle cut off in the middle of the road. I had three children all under the age of five.after having it towed and inspected a refurbished alternator was put in due to a recall (new ones were on back order). Last week my power steering went out while I was driving. I couldn't move the steering wheel at ali. I called the insurance company to send assistance to no avail. I replaced the power steering fuse the next day and after dropping my son off to school, it went out again in the middle of the road. Luckily, I had purchased extra fuses in the event it went out again. I took it to the dealership that did the work before, where they told me the only thing that would fix that problem would be to replace the power steering pump because its electrical. Having electrical issues that affect your ability to operate the car while you are operating it is extremely dangerous and frightening especially when you have children aboard.
My 2012 Chrysler 300 limited has had two recalls (T36 & V01) at first, the power steering was affected and then the vehicle finally died. I had to stop driving the car before it died because it would not pass inspection with the T36 recall and finally, I have been unable to renew my registration. I have contacted service three times and have not received a call back.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. Clear lake Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (15711 gulf fwy, webster, tx 77598, (281) 310-8367) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedies. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and kept the vehicle for three days. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Car radio - phone "hands free " won't connect. * ga. Law. Nva system won't update. Bought 2015 update. Access plug in, won't play I pod. Have had - air bag recall and alternator recall. Chysler knows these radios are bad. I want the radio replaced.
Stoneridge Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram pleasanton, ca sold me this vehicle in March 2019, soon as left the dealer the alternator went out, then the engine light came on. The rear camera do not work, the uconnect do not work-malfunctions. The car was returned and kept for two to three weeks. Returned to me with the uconnect malfunctioning, engine light back on, rear camera not working.
