- Summary
- Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid, Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Phaser For a 2016/2017 MY 6.4L SRT with less than 12,000 miles that have either a P0016 CRANKSHAFT/CAMSHAFT TIMING MISALIGNMENT - BANK 1 SENSOR 1 or P000B BANK 1 CAMSHAFT 2 POSITION SLOW RESPONSE fault codes active and fault code diagnostics lead to replacing a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid and/or a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Phaser, prior to changing any components, please contact Mr. CJ Maines at cell: (248) 576-0725 or email to: charles.maines@fcagroup.com. Engineering is seeking information on the above concern in an effort to root cause to this issue. If possible, please inquire about the last oil change date, miles and type used prior to calling. If the dealer is located in the Detroit Metro Area, Engineering may send a rep to review with technician. Any information is appreciated. If a response is not received within 15 minutes, then proceed with the necessary repair.
