Also.....water pump failure.....3/6/99....mileage....67,500. The listed incidents are unusal and unexpected. It seems I am having one problem after another on this vehicle. Dealer has worked with me and has been more than fair. I am happy with their service. I am not happy about the quality of the product Chrysler has created. I believe that I am paying for their design flaw, as this is the first year of totally new designed vehicle.
Chrysler wants us to be responsible for 50% of charges to repair only the transmission; which was already overhauled at 35,000 miles. We need help in getting Chrysler to take responsibility for a possible lemon. The power steering pump is going out and the dealer said it is premature; Chrysler will not even acknowledge. The ABS brake light comes on and stays on at different times, the front of the car "jumps" upon slowing to stop. The car has been nothing but trouble.
