After coming to a complete stop and releasing the brake the car will go into low gear and becomes very hard to accelerate. Took it to a shop because it was said to be a brake problem, I got new rotors, front and back brakes, and calipers. Problem still is there.
Car returned to dealer for 4th time for brake failure. In the past they have not found anything wrong. Now, master cylinder to be replaced for 2nd time. Brake shoes and pads were replaced for second time since 10/97 in 02/00, and already show excessive and uneven wear and need replacing again. Even through total brake failure, the ABS warning light has never come on. This car is a nightmare!
The rear brake pads and shoes malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance, which may result an accident. Been replace 2 times. Dlr cannot determine the problem.
ABS brakes lock up and occasionally grind when stopping; also, premature wear of front brake pads. In addition, vehicle experienced power steering fluid leakage;insufficient lighting from heaflights and check engine light constantly comes on due to wiring problems.
