After coming to a complete stop and releasing the brake the car will go into low gear and becomes very hard to accelerate. Took it to a shop because it was said to be a brake problem, I got new rotors, front and back brakes, and calipers. Problem still is there.

Brake shoes and pads were replaced for second time since 10/97 in 02/00, and already show excessive and uneven wear and need replacing again. Even through total brake failure, the ABS warning light has never come on. This car is a nightmare!
