Even when I have my car off without my key in the ignition I can shift the vehicle between every different gear. If I'm on a hill or in a parking lot without even having my car running or having the key in the ignition of my vehicle I can go from park neutral drive reverse.
I believe this is a safety issue.the 1st.dealer(southern Chrysler in lufkin tx) I took it to could not fix it.the 2nd.dealer and where the vehicle was originaly purchased(mike perry motor co.)said they could fix it, but at a cost of $370.since I have never tampered with it in anyway and most important is that it is a real safety issue, I believe it should be fixed by the dealer and at no cost to me. No safety defect listed in summary.
