So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Power door locks went out on both sides. This first began on passenger's side, but now on driver's side. It is difficult to get in and out, and sometimes it is hard to gain entry with the key itself. Only repairs were to power windows on the driver's side, but no repairs to the locks. The passenger rear door lock also failed.
Power door locks have failed on two doors driver front and passenger rear. Door lock squeals when locking and will not let you open the door or pull the lock open (up) manually. I believe this is a safety concern. When defective if you would lose power to the lock you could not get the door open.
I have a Chrysler 2000 Lhs and have had to have 2 door actuators replaced in my car in the last year. I don't feel this should be a normal occurrance and am concerned about the other 2 doors at this time.
Power locks actuator seems to be going bad on a the Lhs. Is there a way to look at the repair shop for Chrysler to see how many power locks actuator are going bad. I have a brother and a cousin that are having the same problem with their Lhs.
