The contact owns a 2000 Chrysler Lhs. While driving approximately 20 mph, the driver seat fractured. The contact pulled the vehicle over and received assistance from the police to help prop the seat up. The contact was able to drive to her residence. The dealer stated that the seat needed to be replaced. After the first failure, the contact received a new pin due to an unknown recall. After the second seat fracture, the entire seat was replaced. The failure mileage was 90,000.

The contact owns a 2000 Chrysler Lhs. When the contact entered the vehicle, he leaned back in the seat and it reclined all the way to the floor. He located a recall related to his failure and called the manufacturer regarding the recliner bolt in the driver's seat. He was informed that the repair had already been performed on his vehicle; however, he would have to pay approximately $1,000 to repair and install the seat again. The current and failure mileages were 90,000.
