The top went down yesterday. Could not get the top up and the dash board reads that the convertible top is in operation position. It has been raining and I had to borrow a garage to park the car in.

I called the local dealership service department. The department is open, after many attempts to get to the service department and speaking with the operator, who took my message and said someone would call me that day. As of today no one has returned my call. I have never been a fan of this autodealership but since it was Saturday and they are the only one in the area that is open, I tried them.

I came home and research the internet. Today. between the rain storms, I have tried manually overriding the system today as suggested on the internet, But no luck. On Monday I will either take to my personal machenic or differently drive the 30 miles to another dealership that deserves my business.

Sebring Convertible

I went out with the guys for lunch, cruising in my shiny convertible, but when we got back to work, the top would not close. Fortunately, my own mechanic is honest with me and encouraged me to take it to the dealer. I was without a car for several days, and though I live in a small time and can use my bike to get around, it was during the hottest days of the year. Mileage was BELOW the warranty, but it was just barely over the three year mark of the original warranty. Chrysler made an exception and covered the cost of parts, though it still cost me $150 out of pocket. I love this car dearly, but my goodness is she trouble. She picks up a nail in a tire at least once per winter, and now the gas tank dumps fuel down the side (that will be posted in a new complaint)
