I bought the 2011 Town and Country minivan used in November 2013 and did not have a problem until January 2015. The problem is that the cluster (the gauge system above the steering wheel) started beeping and alternating through all the warning lights one by one indicating that there was total electrical failure. The windshield wipers would come on automatically, the windows would not roll down, the automatic sliding doors would not open but the engine still worked despite the chaos.

The car has been in the shop for 35 days since January 19th and not a single technician or service agent has any clue how to fix it. They changed the battery, the alternator, the TIPM, the liftgate module, the blind spot detectors, and some wires and they cleaned mud off of other wires, but they agree that there is a poltergeist in my car and I need to have an exorcism performed to solve the problem. It's a good thing I bought the extended warranty because all this work has cost them about $7000, not to mention the $850 they paid toward my rental car. I am in the hold for $500+ for rental car insurance just for CYA purposes. The last thing I want is for my rental car to need to go to a Chrysler dealership for repairs like my car did and not return, costing me out of pocket expenses to cover a rental car while it is being repaired.

This whole process has been extremely stressful. Driving the car with constant beeping, not knowing the speed or gas or tire pressure, having people stare at me with my wipers going non-stop in the Las Vegas heat, and possibly getting locked in my vehicle with the windows or doors locked. all cause significant stress. But the most stressful part is that the dealership has had my car for 35 days and still has no idea how to fix it.

If anyone has experienced this same problem, please let me know how you fixed it. I have been searching the web but have not found any solutions.
