This is what we have dealt with summed up by a Chrysler employee that TRIED to help.

Christine,

I am a bit confused with this whole situation and want to be clear on what was told to me in phone and email communications with CM. When Mr. Queenan arrived here and we spoke with Crystal Garcia, she told me to put him into a rental, I explained to her that we are extremely backed up with transmission work and she told me that she understands and that the transmission had recently been repaired, a few days later when our transmission tech brought the car in he told me that the unit was not a Mopar unit and would not be covered under warranty. I contacted Crystal Garcia and she specifically told me that she had approved a re-manufactured Mopar unit to be installed by Crystal Chrysler, I told her that it was not a Mopar unit and she told me that she approved a Mopar Unit and she was going to contact Crystal Chrysler, A few days later she called and told me that it was a miscommunication between Her CM and Crystal Chrysler and that the used unit was approved, I said what do you mean used, she said yes they installed a used transmission, I was like are you serious, the customer was told a Mopar Remanufactured unit was installed and now we have to tell him it's a used transmission. I asked Crystal to please get me the information to LKQ, after some time I finally got the information to LKQ, I contacted them (LKQ) and they said they cover up to $50 an hour and we need to diagnose the vehicle. I spoke to our technician and service manager and he told me that someone has to pay three hours to start the diagnosis of the problem with the transmission, next thing I new Crystal Garcia is no longer with Chrysler, we have a vehicle here and nobody at CM is taking care of this customer's problem. Then I spoke with Ralph, I explained the whole problem that we were having, he told me to go ahead with the three hrs diagnosis and that CM was taking care of the rental. This vehicle has been the most complicated and miscommunication breakdown problem that I have seen in a long time. I am sorry to see any customer would have to go threw so many different stories from day one. Mr Queenan should not have to be going through any of this. Let me get this straight, now you want us to contact our AM and explain the mess that has been created by CM & Crystal Chrysler and the customer is going to be responsible for his rental.

This vehicle has several transmission issues, Our Trans Tech scanned for DTC's, codes "P0755 2-4 or 2 C Solenoid Circuit", "P0706 Transmission Range Sensor Rationality", "P2764 Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Circuit Low". The technician pulled the pan and observed metal dust in pan and fluid to be metallic color "INTERNAL ISSUES" he also says that when he ran the simulator and actuated transmission to drive it was showing transmission in park. "TCU and Or Electrical Issues". Our Transmission Tech says he will need to Rebuild and or Replace Transmission with a Mopar Reman, once he has it installed he will then re-check to see if he is still having an issue with simulator controlling transmission. We most definitely would not put a used transmission in the vehicle and the customer would not like to have a used transmission replaced with another one and have the possibility of having the same issue in the near future. Please speak with your supervisor as I have spoke to my Service Director and he told me to explain the whole situation with an email reply and then see what is CM's final decision. If you should have any questions feel free to contact me directly at the number below or send me an email. Thank you

1 week after I bought my van the car started vibrating when the vehicle was stopped (waiting at the light). I went to the dealer to ask them if there was a recall for this problem they first say that there was no problem and then I read that there was a recall for some vehicles having debris on the engines, so they replaced half of the heads in the engine.

The vehicle stopped vibrating, but then I notice that when speeding or slowing down the vehicle does not respond to the change in gears or isn’t accelerating like it should. Also while coming to a stop the transmission would not slow down or downshift causing the car to lunge forward. It would vibrate when coming to stop.

We have a 2012 town and country van. It has been to the dealer to be fixed for the same problem 8 to 9 times since April and they still can't fix it. During the summer we put far more miles on the dealers loaner vehicle than this van because it was in the shop so much. The van lunges like you are getting rear ended and runs really rough. Chrysler has put on a new head, replaced the transmission along with numerous other smaller things. After 5 months I am fed up with it. Chrysler keeps wasting my time telling me to keep bringing it in and they will fix it. In the last month we have brought it to the dealer to get worked on once to twice a week. My wife drives 80 miles a day for work and we have 3 kids. I don't think his vehicle is safe or dependable enough for my wife to drive everyday let alone 80 miles per day. Apparently chrysler doesn't value my time at all because they keep telling me we will fix it just keep bringing it in. They don't seem to care that I have to take off work constantly to take the van in or spend hours on the phone with their product escalation department. At what point in time does the lemon law kick in. I would think after 5 months and 8 to 9 separate times at the dealer to be fixed,(this is just counts the times it has been at the dealer for more than 2 to 3 consecutive days and not all the times we have gone in and hooked it up to the computer or just took a quick look at). It is time for chrysler to step up and help us out with the purchase of another vehicle. But instead they jut keep wasting my valuable time.

Purchased the car and the next day had it in the shop. While coming to a stop the transmission would not downshift causing the car to lunge forward. It would vibrate coming to stop. Chrysler is aware of the problem and the service shop told me there is no fix for the 2012 however they came up with a fix for the 2013. This is either with the ECHO button on or off. I currently have a lawsuit issued for breach of warrantee due to two different shops were able to duplicate the problem but have no solution for the problem. I really like how Chrysler takes care of the new cars but doesn't car about the people who bought there car. Would not recommend and Chrysler product due to the service I received from them.
