Had to replace tires on 2014 Town and country minivan. Found that the original equipment tires, two were manufactured in 2010 and two were manufactured in 2012. All showed signs of dry rot on side walls.
The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and country equipped with kumho tires, size: P225/65R/17 (na). While the vehicle was being inspected for routine maintenance, the technician informed the contact that the front driver side tire experienced excessive wear and needed to be rotated. The tire was rotated. In addition, the tire leaked. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 43,579 and the tire failure mileage was 9,000.
