Arrived at work, put car into park and it kept rolling forward. Emergency brake only way to keep still, the control on dash showed it was in park and shifter as far up as it would go for parking position and still kept rolling forward. Just bought car used in July and was told was a new transmission and here it is December of same year and already a major problem. When called dealership they said sounded like a loose cable and I'd have to pay the 200$ deductible of the warranty in order for them "to look at it" . And hoping to get back by Monday ( today is Friday) and Monday is new years eve.....what are chances it will be done.....

well it started around the end of june, i was having trouble getting my car to sh*t into drive, the shifter would be in the drive spot but stay in N. today (08- 03-12) i arrive at my babysitters place to drop off my children. i put my car in park, shut it off and take my kids inside. i come back out crank the car, try to shift the gear into drove, it wont move, then i notice on the gauges it says my car is in N but the shift is on P. i still cant get it to change or move at all. we finally got it into drive by going in to the motor area and manually shifting the gear to at least get the car out of the babysitters yard. so now i don't have a working car. thanks for ruining this single mother of two's way to get from point A to point B to C and D, etc....
