This is the second time this has happened. Just replaced cover on motor which has alternator bracket last year at cost of nearly $2000! Will never buy another Dodge, given lousy electrical system and motor mount breaking twice! Dodge is CRAP!

Never has my husband or anyone I have spoken to has ever heard of the mount to the alternator breaking, also others are complaining that the bottom bolt is always breaking off prior to this occurring. I think there is an issue with that which is putting pressure on the mount/bracket. There is no way this is a freak thing when others are having the same issue. And we are having either a transmission issue now or a sensor problem. It is dragging through 1st and second gears, bringing the RPM's to 3 and sometimes close to 4 before it will shift gears. I read on here where people are having major problems with their transmissions so it is freaking me out. I will never buy a Dodge again when they do not back up their mistakes.

just seems a bit odd for the car to experience this considering the amount of miles it has on it. also NEVER had a MOTOR mount to BREAK and I am NOTTTTT a 'vicious' driver- I'm like the little old lady who goes to the store and church on Sunday- Stupid plastic car!!!
