The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Charger. While the vehicle was parked, the contact observed that the driver's door became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer (, grieger's motor 1756 us. Highway 30 West, valparaiso, in 46385) where it was diagnosed that the lower door hinge frame failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. No further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
