Takata recall- having trouble getting my dealership to repair my airbag inflator. I called spartanburg Chrysler Jeep Dodge in spartanburg, SC, to be told that they did not have the part needed to repair my vehicle and they had no idea when they would get one. I asked if they could order it, and the response was, "no, they just send them to us randomly. We never know when we might get one. Call back in a week or two and maybe we will have one by then." I need this repair done now. The dealership is 1 hour away so I need to schedule it on a day off. That day would be next Monday, January 18. Don't know what to do!!! help!

Takata recall, every time I call dealer (cassens and sons, glen carbon, il.) I get a run around. I was just informed that when parts are available, cars in for routine maintenance are given priority. I should not be required to use their maintenance services to get a timely for the recall. This effectively puts me at the end of the list to have the problem resolved.
