Charger RS V8 Hemi

On several occasions the door handles on the vehicle will not function. They are supposed to unlock automatically when carrying the remote. Even when pressing the button on the remote or the door handle the vehicle will not open. This happens to the drivers door and the back passenger door. I have had to use the manual key on several occasions to unlock the vehicle. Even after it is unlocked the back door will not open either from the inside or the outside. After several hours the back door will begin to work again. They have been unable to resolve this issue.

I, like everyone else, had bad door handles. Simply put I lost count on how many since new, I'm on either door handles 9 & 10, or 11 & 12.

Charger R/T MAX V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

This car has more problems, it has locked me out of it when I had my 9mon baby at the store. I would not start 3 different times, left me stranded. All electric problems, has over 30 codes that could be wrong with it. Dealer not able to fix it, due to so many codes making the computer not work.

Charger SE 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 800 miles

The keyless entry system stopped working a few weeks after purchasing the vehicle. Since then, it has been in the shop seven times for the same problem. Both door handles have been replaced 2X and on the last trip to fix it, the keyless system stopped working altogether. I now have to use my emergency key to enter the vehicle. I have given up on having the vehicle fixed properly and have filed a "lemon law" suit against Chrysler through a law firm in PA.

Update from Feb 22, 2012: It has been 2 months since I have filed the Lemon Law complaint with my lawyer and Chrysler has not responded. Time to go to court!
