The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the keyless entry system did not work at times on the front driver side door and the vehicle would sporadically lock itself. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer several times, but the failure persisted. The door handle was replaced once and a software upgrade was performed twice to no avail. The dealer was not able to correct the failure. The failure mileage was 7,000.
The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact stated the front exterior driver and passenger side doors would not lock or unlock with the keyless remote entry activated. Both doors were manually locked and unlocked with a key. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated the door lock sensor was damaged as a result to water. The technician stated there was not a remedy for the defect. The approximate failure mileage was less than 3,000.
