Flash: W5A580 Transmission Shift Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience one or more of the following conditions. These symptoms are broken down by engine application. 3.6L engine (sales code ERB) ? Less than desired shift quality or elevated transmission temperatures during sport or track driving. ? Delayed shifting in hot ambient temperatures or during aggressive and Wide Open Throttle (WOT) driving. 5.7L engine (sales code EZH) ? Delayed shifting in hot ambient temperatures or during aggressive and Wide Open Throttle (WOT) driving. ? Less than desired fuel economy.
