Dodge already has a recall (F05) issued on the ABS control module causing serious brake problems with the 2006 Dodge Dakota. I own a Dakota of the same year, but my VIN number falls short one number from being in the category of recalled vehicles. The exact same problem is happening to me with this Dakota and they won't fix it!! MY DAKOTA is the same freaking year and the same model and it's having the same issue, but they won't fix it because of one number in the VIN. That seems logical? Never! This is absolutely ridiculous.
i was just told that there maybe a recall and I found this, which may be the cause of this whole problem. taking it today to the dealer and going to investigate.
