Failed radiator for transmission meant that coolant mixed with transmission fluids. The shop fixed it as best they could, but it still shifts poorly (rumbles, lags, poor shifting/down shifting). Not worth a new tranny for a truck this old. Only drive it close to home without much of bed load.
