There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact stated that the passenger sustained injuries that required medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The dealer was not called. The vehicle manufacturer was not contacted. The tire manufacturer was made aware of the tire failures and stated that someone would call the contact back. The contact was not called back. The failed tires were not the original tires. The failure mileage of the vehicle was 41,803 and the failure mileage of the tires was approximately 1,000.

Just noticed that the yokohama 225/40 R18 avid S34 tires on my 2015 Dodge Dart have split side walls. I bought the car new. It has approximately 18,000 miles. I had the car in three times for the tires loosing air. I've read that yokohama have been having problems on this model tire for years with many different sizes but have only recalled one size.
