The right rear brake on my vehicle squeaks horribly when in stop and go traffic, or when coming to a stop in general. Almost sounds like the wear indicator. Dealer said the brakes are fine and the squeaking is normal for a vehicle with 28K miles. Attributed the noise to glazing of the rotors and assured me there is no degradation of braking ability. Advised that resurfacing the rotors would solve the problem, but they recommended waiting until the vehicle actually needs new brakes before going that route. Not sure I can tolerate the noise until the vehicle NEEDS new brakes... it is pretty embarrassing to have a vehicle with such loudly squeaking brakes.
